  • Led the triage team in multiple 24-hour CBRN mass casualty operations; mentored junior personnel by delegating Triage Team Lead duties and providing real-time feedback

  • Oversaw treatment and reassessment of over 200 casualties in Level C PPE, ensuring efficient casualty flow and pre-decontamination lifesaving interventions

  • Continued squad leader responsibilities throughout mission; managed accountability, conducted PCIs/PPIs, and ensured team readiness and welfare

  • Support NCO for retrograde movement of 25 personnel, coordinating transportation, logistics, and final accountability for redeployment operations

  • Part of the team supporting continuous anthrax vaccinations to support ongoing unit medical readiness

  • Triage Team Lead for a squad of 4 heading into the hot zone of a CBRN mass casualty disaster while in Level C PPE

  • Triaged a wide range of injuries of over 40 casualties within less than an hour of contact time in the Casualty Collection Point while tasking out positions to the rest of the squad to create a flow of efficient ambulatory and non-ambulatory casualty care

  • Radioed reports every 15 minutes to our triage NCOIC of status updates on personnel, equipment, and expectant casualties

  • Constantly reassessed all triaged casualties for any changes in vitals, demeanor, and predicted outcome of injury, while treating any casualties using pre-decontamination lifesaving measures (i.e. tourniquets, bandages, airway positioning, hypothermia prevention) in a non-pervasive environment

 

Global Medic | Fort McCoy, WI | 2023

  • Rendered care under fire and within the FLA during movement to a higher level of care to over 100 casualties during a 24-hour operational mission training for 10 days

  • Performed tasks higher than my rank required such as leading a medical evacuation night operation using coordinates and a map to navigate our squad’s FLA of 2 medics with 4 casualties to another forward operating base (FOB) location. Once at said location, I coordinated several patient handoffs with the Role 3’s senior medic and ensured proper equipment and personnel revitalization before guiding us back to our unit FOB and debriefing command
